What is Spend In Glen?

Spend in Glen is a chamber run initiative to encourage the Glen Innes community to shop locally in the lead up to Christmas. This also provides incentive for local businesses to put their festive foot forward and showcase their products and services to the local community. This initiative has been running for over a decade and has become bigger and better with more prizes and local businesses joining in the fun.

The program which runs from late November right up until the Friday before Christmas encourages locals to spend at participating businesses, and in return receive an entry into the draw to win a part of the $10,000.00 prize pool!

To enter, shoppers must spend a minimum $20 in one transaction at one of the participating stores and register your details online, it’s that easy!

This year there will be 3 winners drawn at 10am on Saturday 21st of December, in the Town Square. 1st Prize $5000, 2nd Prize $3000, and 3rd Prize $2000 in local gift vouchers (T&C’s Apply).

GIBC will provide gift vouchers from the participating businesses as elected by the winners. Businesses can register for the 2024 Spend In Glen season here. Registration is FREE for all businesses and promotional material will be provided.
