On Saturday 9th March, the Glen Innes Services Club, The New England Club and The Glen Innes Business Chamber hosted the inaugural International Womens Day Long Lunch. Inspired by the theme of “inclusion”, The Long Lunch, brough the women in Glen Innes together to connect, inspire and celebrate all things women. Our guest speakers on the day included Gayleen Burley (GISC), Ellen Mulligan (Moveology New England), Zannita Burgess (Midwife and Community Nurse) and Holly Goodman (Peter Bill). Each of our speakers, recounted their journeys as mothers, business women, health professionals and leaders, touching each of the women in the room by empowering conversations, inspiring inclusion and encouraging community.
