Elevate Your Brand, Business Story & Content

  • The Highlands Hub 167 Grey Street Glen Innes, NSW, 2370 Australia (map)

As part of Glen Innes’ “Small Business Week” Glen Innes Business Chamber (GIBC) will be hosting a series of mini workshops on Tuesday 17th of October to help you elevate your businesses brand story, online presence, and social media content.

The shift to digital and online platforms across all industries means customers can now access more products and services easily from the comfort of their homes. To remain competitive, small businesses (especially those in rural towns) need a good online presence to attract and retain their customer base.

Market trends show that customers are attracted to the human element of businesses – your story, your purpose and how they can engage with your products or services. By “humanising” your business offering it helps to attract and build genuine connection with your potential customers. In addition, customers want to easy access to your business offering – the inability to find information, or a clunky online experience, can turn potential customers away.

Our full day workshop funded by the NSW Government Small Business Month grant provides participants with knowledge and tools to improve their brand, online experience, and content creation.

Divided into three sessions, participants have the option of attending the Full Day (morning tea and lunch included) or individual sessions depending on what skills you would like to learn or develop. While the session can be stand alone, the theme for the day is to create alignment between your business brand story and how you communicate that to your clients and customers through your online presence and content creation.

In each session we will introduce tools including Canva (graphic design), Squarespace/Wix (basic website platforms) and practice taking and editing photos using your mobile phone. Participants will be given time to play around and work on their business brands and online strategy so laptops and phones are a must!
